Chinese New Year 2015

   As I grown up, I understand the value of family. When I just graduated from my Secondary school in Yu Yuan Private Chinese School, what was on my mind at that time was freedom. I was so excited about freedom to live my own life with my own way and explore what life look like out there but once I got that freedom, then realized life is not easy as I thought.

Words.

But, thanks to God. No matter how hard life is, I knew there will be always an angel to help me. Like Mama always said,:" Be strong. Be kind. Be humble. Pray always and the rest let God decide." Thank you mom for keep supporting me. Love you.

No matter how busy life is, never forget your loves one. Always remember, Properties are temporary but love are forever. Don't chase money and sacrifice your loves one.

Since I was a Sino- Kadazan means half of me is Chinese and in fact my father is a Chinese, Chinese New Year is my celebration.
Got 5 days leaves and went back to my hometown by 9 hours road trip with my cousins, it was my first Chinese New Year road trip to my hometown.

When I arrived in Sandakan, my family waited me for Chinese New Year eve dinner. It felt warm, comfortable, happy and grateful to have the chance to reunited with my family again.

 Not to forget I got the chance to meet my childhood friend, Sabrina in my hometown. Damn, talking about our childhood made me feel old! Haha.. Well, time passed but memory last forever. 

It was a great 5 days with my family especially with my mom. Chit chat with her while cooking in kitchen just we always did. Mom is always a good cook to me. Love you Ma.

Northern Lights in Iceland

I do same tasks everyday, traveled 2 hrs of journey in same road trip every single day BUT it wouldn't boring me because I learned a lot of things. How? I meet people from different countries, cultures and languages every single day.

I remember this one tourist lady named Rey who is from China but studying her Master in Music in London. She told me about her experiences travel in Europe.

Fireflies at Nanamun River, Kota Belud, Sabah.

 "This place is so beautiful. The stars are magnificent." She praised the beauty of Nanamun River while we were having Firefly river cruise. "The stars reminded me of Iceland." "What Iceland ?", I said. Then she showed me a picture through her phone and said :" This is what Iceland have. Northern Lights." I was really amazed. "Wow! Cantik gila! (Extremely beautiful)." 

I'd seen that phenomenon in television when I was a little kid before but I never knew it was from Iceland. I hope one day I can witness it with my own eyes. Sad thing is my phone is out of battery at that time so we were not able to take pic together but thank your Rey, a little knowledge sharing is a gift for me.

Introduction

Orang Utan can be found in Sepilok, Sandakan.

Originally from Sandakan Nature city went a long way to Kota Kinabalu City to search for life experiences. I work in the operation department in a travel agency based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Firefly tour, the most famous tour happening now in Kota Kinabalu and yes, you can contact me if you are interested.






I started to learn life when I was 18. Maybe it is too late for certain people, or perhaps it could be too young to learn life or perhaps it is normal. I don't know. But what I know was life is a gift, to learn you have to be humble. Learn to ask, respect others cultures and be thankful. Pray always and the rest let God decide.

If you love seafood, Sandakan is the best place to have one. Cheaper and fresh! Or if you want to see the Orang Utan, Sandakan welcome you. 

By plane from Kota Kinabalu is 40 Minutes and by road trip is 8 Hours.
